On January 4, 2022, the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy issued guidance to federal research agencies on the implementation of National Security Presidential Memorandum 33 (NSPM-33). Please note page 10 indicates the purpose and 5 key areas including a research security program. This new guidance directs federal agencies to work together over the next 120 days to develop model forms and instructions that clarify what information must be disclosed in federal grant applications, standardized across agencies to the greatest extent possible.
