Programmatic Initiative Funding is an opportunity provided by the Offices of the Provost and the Associate Provost of Programmatic Research designed to support team science at Jefferson. To be eligible for funding through this opportunity as a New Theme Team applicants must have a demonstrated commitment to programmatic research including previous submission of multi-investigator, team science-based grant applications. Another funding mechanism in this program is Goal Line funding, which is awarded to enhance the chances of a successful resubmission of a multi-investigator programmatic grant to an extramural funding source.
