Research Coordinator

The Research Coordinator will support the planning and implementation of several research projects that span topic areas. This includes conducting literature reviews, drafting IRB documents, performing data collection, supporting data analysis, and contributing to reports and deliverables. This person should be passionate about supporting research focused on patient-centered care and capable of managing multiple projects at once. 

Essential Functions:

  • Supports the preparation and submission of materials to the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and other regulatory bodies as required
  • Conducts qualitative and quantitative data collection with research participants
  • Recruits participants for various studies and clinical trials
  • Participates in regular project and team meetings
  • Engages with research stakeholders, including patients, clinicians, and external partners
  • Contributes to written materials, including literature reviews, workflows, reports, and other deliverables
  • Performs administrative tasks, including the development of meeting agendas and notes
  • Performs other duties as assigned


  • Strong interest in clinical research
  • Completion of all necessary Human Subjects Research trainings
  • Ability to learn quickly, through hands on training and observation
  • Consistent attention to detail and incorporation of feedback into future work
  • Effective oral and written communication skills  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Will consider Bachelor's and Master's degrees with relevant experience
