Forums, Events & Seminars

A Road Map to Clinical Research is a half-day course, presented three times per year.

This course provides a step by step overview of the systems, processes and resources that clinical research personnel must successfully navigate in order to perform compliant clinical research at Jefferson.

Invites are sent to personnel via the myJeffHub Clinical Research Community.

Clinical Research Fundamentals is a full-day course, presented three times per year.

This program is targeted toward clinical research personnel that are new to clinical research (18 months or less).  The content will enhance the understanding of the role and responsibilities of the clinical research coordinator by providing foundational knowledge. Attendees will acquire the tools necessary to improve performance of safe, ethical and compliant clinical research in the academic and clinical setting.

The Jefferson Clinical Research Forum (JCRF) is open to all clinical research personnel and occurs on the second Tuesday of every month. 

This monthly forum provides educational offerings and disseminates information on important changes to institutional research infrastructure and processes. In addition, the JCRF serves as a unique opportunity for research personnel to collaborate and network on a regular basis.

The Office of Research Administration provides support services, oversight and training to Jefferson faculty and staff in submitting, managing, and monitoring external funding. Listed below are four tracks designed to strengthen your knowledge of the full life cycle of a grant.

The Center for Teaching and Learning offers workshops and trainings throughout the year specifically targeted towards writing meant for publication. Classes such as, "How to Write Better Abstracts" and "Key Steps in Writing - and Publishing - Your Manuscript," particularly appeal to the research community.
