Research Administration Center of Excellence
Research Administration Center of Excellence (RACE) provides pre- and post-award research administration to all of the departments of Thomas Jefferson University. RACE handles the business of research. Each faculty member will have a designated Grants Administrator (GA) who is a member of a RACE team that is directed by a team lead. The team approach assures that there is always a designed GA available to address a researcher’s needs, even if their RACE GA is out of the office. Your RACE GA is your principal contact person in preparing the administrative sections of your grant proposals and once an award is received provides regular status updates on budget and handling grants related purchasing.
Office of Research Administration
Office of Research Administration (ORA) is the official point of contact for the various sponsors of scientific and scholarly activity. This office reviews and approves grant applications for submission to a sponsor, ensuring that sponsored projects are managed in accordance with sponsor regulations and Jefferson policies.
