Quantitative Image Analysis
A primary goal driving BioImaging is the quantitative analysis of collected data sets to reveal and illustrate the underlying biological phenomena and trends. This process can be as simple as manually counting cells in an image or as complex as multi-stage processing and segmentations recipes. Several powerful softwares are available to help researchers achieve their goals and the BioImaging Shared Resource offers guidance and training on some popular packages.
