Joint Lab Retreat

The lab hosted a joint lab retreat with the Gutkind and Hangauer labs (both UCSD), the Aguirre-Ghiso lab (Albert Einstein) and the Capparelli lab (TJU).

2023
Many of the lab attended SMR 2023 that was organized by Dr. Aplin with other Philadelphia melanoma researchers.
Aplin Lab Virtual Retreat

The Aplin Lab hosted their virtual retreat on Friday, March 12, 2021. They hosted two guest speakers: Leah Cook, PhD, Assistant Professor, Pathology and Microbiology, University of Nebraska Medical Center, College of Medicine and Zachary Schafer, PhD, Coleman Foundation Associate Professor of Cancer Biology, University of Notre Dame, College of Science. Each theme within the lab presented as well. They ended the day with a fun-filled game of Jeopardy.
