Students spend four weeks at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and four weeks at one of our affiliated academic community hospitals. In addition to the clinical experiences, students participate in a comprehensive didactic curriculum comprised of hands-on physical diagnosis sessions, small group sessions that teach clinical reasoning, small group lectures, hands-on ABG and EKG sessions, and medical jeopardy. In addition, students hone their medical literature review skills by participating in an EBM project. The breadth of students’ clinical exposure is closely monitored throughout the clerkship to ensure that each student hing and evaluations, and receive annual feedback on their teaching skills.
