Nikita Nikita, MD
Post Doctoral Fellow

Dr. Nikita is a research fellow working closely with Dr. Grace Lu-Yao. She completed her MD in India and received a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Boston University. She is strongly motivated to help improve the life of patients with cancer, addressing issues related to comorbidities, and improving treatment outcomes. 

Swapnil Sharma, MD 
Research Associate 

Dr. Swapnil completed her MD degree in India and received her Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from University of Alabama at Birmingham. She joined Dr. Lu-Yao’s team in February 2019 and has been a part of many of the Dr. Lu-Yao’s projects. Her research interests include: Outcomes research in cancer patients with comorbidities and Immunotherapy and other treatment related outcomes in cancer patients.

Rebecca Melillo, MS
Clinical Research Coordinator  

Rebecca coordinates translational research focused on exercise and healthy lifestyle as a complement to active cancer treatment. With a background in exercise physiology, her passion is promoting health education to the community, including appropriate cancer screenings and preventive lifestyle changes.

Nicole Dietrich
Administrative Assistant

Nicole assists Dr. Lu-Yao with coordinating research meetings and office functions. With a background in customer service, her passion is helping in any way needed to help keep the office running smoothly.
