This work shed light on the significance of spike broadening in pain signaling.

My Neuroscience PhD work is investigating the electrophysiological basis of the modulation of glutamatergic signaling by EphB2 in the dorsal horn of the spinal cord. This work is elucidating how EphB2 dysregulation is implicated in the mechanism of spinal cord injury-induced neuropathic pain.

My recent research has focused on 1) the structural basis of the modulation of Kv3 channels by novel positive allosteric modulators; and 2) the receptor mediated signaling mechanism that modulates inactivation gating of Kv3.4 channels, which is potentially implicated in peripheral mechanisms of pain.
