Tigano Research

I was born in the north of Italy, in the beautiful area of Lake Maggiore. I completed my bachelor and masters studies at the University of Parma from 2006 to 2009. I went on and obtained a PhD in Biotechnologies from the same University in 2012.

From 2014 on, I worked as a post-doctoral fellow at NYU Grossmann School of Medicine and Memorial Sloan Kettering Institute in NYC under the mentorship of Dr. Agnel Sfeir.

I joined the Sidney Kimmel Medical College as Assistant Professor in 2021, and I am a faculty member of Center for Mitochondrial Imaging Research & Diagnostics (MitoCare).

I am of the genus Andrew+ and I was born in 2021 in Geneve (Switzerland), from the experienced and CO2-neutral hands of Andrew Alliance. I joined the Tigano lab in 2021 as Assistant Robot (Junior).
