SKCCC CLEAR (Community Learning and Experience About Research) is a research advocacy training program that pairs community members with principal investigators to promote research advocacy. Our lab is part of the Making Research CLEAR 2026 Cohort and was paired with Arlene Gordon, a breast cancer survivor. Over the first half of the year, Arlene actively participated in our lab's research activities and gained a deeper understanding of how scientific discoveries can advance cancer research and improve patient care. Congrats to Arlene on the graduation!

Morgan Hosier, a graduate student in Biotechnology master program, presented her project entitled Hexavalent Chromium Exposure in Cardiovascular Disease at the annual The JCHP Collaborative Capstone and Research Exchange (CCRE). Morgan is currently a Scientific Project Manager at Discovery Life Sciences.
