Jefferson attends the EU-funded Partnering Event, which is meant to assist us in finding the right project partners for the upcoming Horizon 2020 Health calls.Almost 350 participants from 33 countries have registered at the event.
Jefferson and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business are the only US entities in attendance.

Thomas Jefferson University provides scientific advice with regards to the Horizon 2020 funded TO-REACH Project https://to-reach.eu/ . The main aim of TO-REACH (Transfer of Organisational innovations for Resilient, Effective, Equitable, Accessible, sustainable and Comprehensive Health Services and Systems) is to prepare a joint European research programme in the area of health services and systems research, among others by developing a Strategic Research Agenda identifying the current research priorities in that field.
The Strategic Research Agenda will be the base of a future joint research effort in which national funding bodies can support cross-national comparisons of health services and systems with a particular focus on better understanding and predicting if innovations in the organisation of care that work well in one setting can be transferred effectively into other settings. This priority-setting process has started and will end by the end of 2019.
