Mission, Goals, Capabilities
The mission of this facility is to produce mutant mice for Jefferson University researchers at very competitive costs using CRISPR/Cas9 technology and the method “Improved-Genome editing via Oviductal Nucleic Acids Delivery (i-GONAD)” to delivers CRISPR/Cas9 ribonucleoproteins to E0.7 embryos by in situ electroporation. Our goal for year 2019-2020 is to produce 4 new mouse strains using this technology.
