Center Research

Our mission is to concentrate and enhance existing interests and expertise in vaccine research and the related areas of immunology and microbial pathogenesis. The Center will build on strengths in basic and translational research in providing a forum for open discussions and a focal point in the Philadelphia area for people with these same interests. A notable strength of the Center is the balance of scientists conducting basic and clinical research, an important requirement for the success of the hypothesis driven development of novel vaccines.
